2. INFORMATION AND CONSENT
By reading this Privacy Policy, the user is hereby informed how Real Abadia Congress & Spa Hotel collects, processes and protects the personal data sent by the user through:
- Website www.realabadiahotel.pt (hereinafter "Website");
- Data shared through the user connection and browsing the Website (hereinafter "Navigation") and other data that may benefit the R.A. in the future;
- Identification forms to provide services;
- Telephone contacts;
- Satisfaction surveys;
- Newsletters.

The User must carefully read this Privacy Policy and voluntarily determine if he intends to provide his personal data, or those of third parties, to the R.A.

2.1 USE OF COOKIES
When the user visit our website: www.realabadiahotel.pt he will be asked to consent the creation and recording on your computer of a text file (Cookie). Google Chrome
- In the settings menu, the user must select "Show advanced settings" at the bottom of the page;
- Select the "Content settings" button on the privacy section;
- In the upper section of the page, appears then information about the cookies and allows the user to set the desired cookies as well as clear the cookies currently stored.

Mozilla Firefox
- In the Tools menu, the user must select "Options";
- Select the privacy tab in the options box;
- From the drop-down list, the user should choose "Use custom settings for history". This will open the cookie options and user´s can choose to enable or disable cookies by clicking the checkbox.

Internet Explorer 6+
- In the Tools menu, the user must select "Internet Options";
- Click on the privacy tab;
- The user can then see a privacy settings slider with six settings that allow user´s to control the number of cookies that will be placed: Block all cookies, High, Medium high, Medium (default level), Low and Accept all cookies.

Safari Browser
- In the settings menu, the user must select the "Preferences" option;
- Open the privacy tab;
- Select the desired option in the section "Block cookies"

3. OBLIGATORY NATURE OF PROVIDING THE DATA
The data requested in the forms, accessible through the R.A. Website, are mandatory (except if the field does not appear as mandatory) to fulfil the stated purposes. Thus, if they are not supplied or are not supplied correctly, we will be unable to process the request.

4. FOR WHAT PURPOSE WILL R.A. PROCESS THE USER´S PERSONAL DATA?
The personal data obtained will be processed by R.A. for the following purposes:
- Manage bookings made, including payment management, and the management of the user´s requests and preferences.
- Manage the subscription to the newsletter and subsequent sending of this.
- Manage the user´s contact requests with the R.A. through the channels provided to this end.
- Manage the sending of personalised commercial communications, through electronic and / or conventional means, if the user has expressly consented this sending.
- Manage the provision of contracted accommodation services and additional services provided during the user´s stay.
- Manage surveys and / or evaluations regarding the quality of services provided by R.A. and / or the perception of its image as a company.

The user's data will be kept for as long as is necessary for fulfill each purpose or until the user requests its elimination to R.A., opposes this treatment or revokes his consent.

5. WHICH USER DATA ARE PROCESSED BY THE R.A.?
The R.A. can treat the following categories of data, according to the request made by the user:
- Identification data: name, surname(s).
- Contact details: postal address, mobile phone number and e-mail address.
- Personal data: date of birth, sex, nationality.
- Details of preferences.
- Geolocation data.
- Credit card details, required for payment of the booking or to guarantee the same, as well as to pay the services associated with the booking.

In the event of registration and / or access through a third party account, R.A. can collect and access certain information of the user´s  profile from the corresponding social network, solely for internal administrative purposes and / or for the purposes indicated above.

In the event that the user provides third-party data, the user declares that they have the third party´s consent and undertakes to provide the interested party, the information of this Privacy Policy, duly exonerating R.A. from any liability in this regard.

6. WHAT IS THE LEGITIMACY OF THE TREATMENT OF USER´S DATA?
The processing of the data necessary for the fulfillment of the provision of services by the R.A., who require the consent of the user, will not be performed without this consent.
In case the user revoke their consent regarding data treatments, this will not affect the legality of the treatments previously performed.

In cases where it is necessary to treat the user's data in order to fulfil with a legal obligation or to perform a contractual relationship between the R.A. and the user, the treatment is legitimized by the obligatoriness of this process.
The treatment of surveys and / or evaluations concerning the quality of the services provided by the R.A will be carried out according to the interest of the user.

7. TO WHICH RECIPIENTS WILL R.A. SHARE THE USER´S DATA?
The user´s data can be shared with:
- Software suppliers of R.A. whose services are necessary for the correct fulfillment of the legal obligations.
- Public administrations, in the cases provided for under law.

In situations where the transaction of data to third parties is strictly necessary, the efforts deemed reasonable will be developed so that transmitted user data in taken in a suitable way and in line with our Privacy Policy.

8. USER´S RESPONSIBILITY
In order to ensure the compliance of our Privacy Policy, user´s must:

- Ensure that in cases where user´s provide third party data, they are informed of the contents of this policy.

One of the purposes for which R.A. processes de user´s data will be for sending of commercial communications, by electronic and / or conventional means, with information regarding products, services, promotions, offers, events or news relevant to users. Whenever any communication of this type is made, it will be sent only to those users who have authorized their reception and / or who have not previously expressed their refusal to receive them.

To carry out these submissions, R.A. can analyze the data obtained to create User profiles that allow to define in more detail the products that may be of interest to users.

If user´s wish to stop receiving commercial or promotional communications from R.A., he/she can ask to cancel the service by sending an e-mail to the address rgpd@realabadiahotel.pt, as well as indicating their wish not to receive them through the withdrawal option provided in each of the commercial communications sent.

10. EXERCISE OF RIGHTS
To exercise the right of access, rectification, elimination, or limitation, the user may contact the R.A. through the following means:

In this communication user´s should refer the subject (Data protection), identify and refer clearly and objectively about the purpose of the communication:
- Revoke the consents granted.
- Obtain confirmation as to whether the R.A. is or is not treating the personal data relating to the user.
- Access users personal data.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Request the deletion of users data, especially when they are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were intended.
- Request a limitation on the processing of the data granted to R.A.

11. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
The R.A. will treat the data provided by the user´s in an absolutely confidential way and maintaining the mandatory duty to secrecy, in accordance with the provisions of this policy, by adopting all organizational and technical measures necessary to guarantee the security of its data and prevent its alteration, loss, treatment or unauthorized access.

12. CHANGES TO PRIVACY POLICY
R.A. reserves itself the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time. In case of modification the date of the last change, available at the bottom of this page, is also updated. If the change is substantial, a notice will be placed on the Site.
